A brush with history

Established in 1860, Charles Bentley & Son Ltd is now the UK’s leading manufacturer and importer of brushware and household products. Employing more than 250 people in Europe and the Far East, ‘Bentley’, as the company is now widely known, has come a long way since its early days of producing wooden brushware in the back yard of a small terraced house in Loughborough.

Bentley has maintained its Loughborough roots; we now have four sites in the town, totalling 250,000 sq ft, for production, warehousing and the newly-opened Merchandising and Design Centre.

In addition, we have recently established Bentley Asia in Hong Kong. This company looks after our factories in the Far East so that our customers are assured that locally-based Bentley employees are continually checking quality and pack sizes before shipping.
