The Bentley Brushware staff organised a fundraising frenzy on Friday 18th November for this year’s Children in Need. Staff dressed up in an array of fancy dress including Mario, a pink baby and even the Sales Director dressed up- as a female sailor! Staff baked delicious cakes throughout the week, took part in a Pudsey and Blush raffle, a Children in Need themed quiz, a darts competition and horse races. The Bentley accounts team spent the day as maids (carrying cute pink Bentley dusters too of course) and offered tea and coffee services throughout the morning. Finally the Bentley Brushware MD, Charles, doubled all donations and the Bentley team managed to raise almost £1000 for this great cause.
Charles Bentley and Son Ltd named as one of Britain's Brightest Businesses. The Telegraph published a report to celebrate 1,000 mid-sized companies which have weathered the economic storm and are set to be the foundation of the UK's recovery. Concerns over the health of the economy disguise the fact that thousands of businesses across the UK, such as Charles Bentley and Son Ltd, are growing and generating jobs. The snapshot focuses on companies and partnerships with sales between £5m and £500m. Many are growing quickly, others are doing so more slowly, often sustained over many years. It means young gazelles sit alongside long-established companies that have found new ways to grow.
